Let’s Talk Reading

Today the children had a visit from ‘Let’s Talk Reading’.

The children were able to listen to a story and interact with the different puppets in the outdoor area within the Nursery, in the sunshine.

Let’s Talk Reading aims to get people talking about reading, share their love of reading and to spend more time reading together.

Reading benefits children in many ways such as improvement of vocabulary, awareness of phonics and development of skills such as listening and attention.
