I’m Hannah Reeve, the Nursery Manager at Play Out Hadleigh. I have worked in the nursery for 14 years, working my way up from a practitioner to take on the role of Nursery Manager in 2017. I hold a level 3 CACHE diploma in Childcare & Education.
I am passionate about supporting our children and my team to be active learners and to have high expectations for them. I want all our children to thrive and be given the opportunities to develop their skills to become lifelong learners with high aspirations for themselves.
I am a keen cook and I particularly enjoy sharing new recipes with our onsite cook and carrying out cooking activities with the children. I believe it is vitally important that children get to experience different cultural tastes, textures and develop a healthy attitude towards food. Additionally, while cooking children are provided with so many learning opportunities, such as counting, measuring, following sequence, cause and effect to name a few.
I’m Georgie Garnham, the Deputy Manager at Play Out Hadleigh. I have worked at Play Out Hadleigh for 4 years and I am based in the Preschool room, leading the practice with our eldest children.
I hold a foundation degree in Early Years Practice and am currently studying to complete my BA Honours to gain my level 6. Additionally, I am the nursery SENDCo, a role that I am passionate about. I have implemented Makaton Mondays in the nursery, teaching the children various signs to make everyone feel included. Previously I worked within a School as a Teaching assistant and worked closely with children with Autism. Therefore, this is something that has pushed me to become more conscious of developing children’s language and ways of interaction.
I thoroughly enjoy learning new skills and facing challenges, before this I studied performing arts, so often you will find me singing and dancing with the children.
The nursery provides a flexible booking option for families, enabling our services to meet your needs. Parents have the option to book their children into the nursery in hourly slots, meaning that parents pay for what they need rather than being tied into set booking patterns, with hours not being needed or used.
We offer an all-inclusive package to our families, providing nappies and wipes included in our fee schedule. Our nurseries offer the 30 hours funded sessions for children the term following their third birthday.
